Journals are thought to be an honest and candid source of information where events are recorded. Individuals writing the journal can manipulate the reader and include stories and information that are not true or never happened leaving a distorted view of events, people, and situations.
As one searches through life to find true intimacy, no matter how much information about an individual’s personality is revealed, such as the reading of one’s journal, the truth will always be in the mind of that singular person while the rest of the public debates.
