My paintings are abstract representations of my inspiration, athletics. Those that are team, individual, contact, strategy and speed oriented are my main theme depicting action and motion within my paintings. The viewer should see implied movement on the canvas by the arranged colors and placed lines. I focus mainly on high intensity sports, those that rely on discipline, determination, and dedication. These practices that result in realizing full potential, relate to my life as an artist. Without any of these three things, a successful athlete or artist may not reach his or her objective. My passion of painting and my passion of sports are equal. I relate sports and art by the perseverance that each activity must pertain to, to achieve extraordinary results.
“Great works are performed not by strength but by perseverance.” - Samuel Johnson
